About Hishmate
Hishmate is a freelance marketplace built around small, clearly scoped tasks. Instead of hiring for a role, you post one need — a consultation, a push for reach, or an honest test — and independent workers apply to do exactly that.
What Hishmate is
Hishmate is a two-sided marketplace for independent work. Requesters publish short tasks with a fixed reward in credits; freelancers browse, save and apply with a profile and a resume. Every task belongs to one of three kinds: consult (expertise), promote (reach) or test (feedback). Work is remote, tasks are small by design, and the whole flow runs in a browser — you sign in with a Web3 wallet instead of a password.
How a task runs, start to finish
- 1. Post a task
Describe the outcome you want, choose a category and set a fixed reward in credits. Posting reserves the reward on your balance until the work is approved.
- 2. Choose who does it
Applicants arrive with their profile, skills and resume. Pick one and the task moves to in progress.
- 3. Approve, then settle
The worker submits a delivery. When you approve it, the reward moves from your balance to theirs and both sides can leave a rating.
The three kinds of work
- Consult — hire an expert to review a plan, a market or a decision and give you advice you can act on.
- Promote — hire a promoter to get a product, a launch or a piece of content in front of more of the right people.
- Test — hire a tester to use your product for real and report what is confusing, broken or missing.
Who it is for
Founders and small teams who need one specific thing done rather than a full-time hire, and independent workers who want short, well-paid engagements. Hishmate ships its interface in eleven languages and tasks are remote, so requesters and workers do not need to be in the same country.
Credits and wallets
Hishmate has no passwords: you connect an Ethereum wallet and prove ownership with a signature. Rewards are held in platform credits. You top up by sending USDC on the Arbitrum Sepolia network to the treasury address — 1 USDC becomes 1 credit — and spend those credits on tasks.
